Express Maintenance Service Advisor
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns with their vehicles
- Recommend services and repairs based on customer needs and vehicle requirements
- Prepare accurate estimates and time needed for services and repairs
- Schedule appointments for services and repairs
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs - Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with services provided
- Handle cash, credit card, and check transactions
Requirements:
- Experience in the automotive industry (preferred, but willing to provide training)
- Knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance requirements (preferred, but willing to provide training)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately diagnose problems with vehicles - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Cash handling experience preferred
Shifts:
- Monday - Friday
- Rotating Weekends
Pay:
- Starting from $15/hr but will be able to negotiate based on experience
Automotive Technician
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably with Toyota vehicles. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, interpreting repair orders, and performing auto estimating tasks. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.
Pay Structure: Pay is based off of experience, certifications, and production
Responsibilities:
- * Perform maintenance and repairs on Toyota vehicles and other makes as needed.
* Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and complete repairs efficiently.
* Read and interpret repair orders to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards.
* Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
* Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
* Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in automotive repair
Qualifications:
- * ASE Certification preferred.
* Proven experience as a service technician or mechanic.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and repair techniques.
* Ability to read technical manuals effectively.
* Experience with auto estimating software is a plus.
* Proficient in using various hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills to interact with customers professionally.
* Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not required.
